Ehsoonha

Self-Knowledge; The Hard Way

Ludwig Feuerbach in “The Essence of Christianity” said “man first sees his nature as if out of himself before he finds it in himself” when arguing that god is a projection of man himself. This concept or mechanism that man was fooled to know himself through another entity can be used to design a system that acquires self-knowledge through what it had fancied as if properties of external entities. The key is that it should be able to periodically allow itself to be deceived through a mechanism that it can later undo saving the self-knowledge acquired in the process! Is it useful? Maybe not but it’s definitely fun to implement.

19th Century Designers

One of the things that philosophers of 19th century can do better in the 21st century, is building ‘intelligent’ systems that operate on *irrational* beliefs to satisfy their needs and overcome their feers. I mean they were good at ‘designing’ mechanisms which would produce irrational beliefs, sustain them and produce further beliefs that they are rational. Future more they would engage in social mechanisms where they could share, distribute and support the rationalized versions of the beliefs. Fter all this is the theme of the 19th century.

The Longest Night; Your Birthnight!

It’s a great thing that you were born, what a fun night. San Francisco War Memorial Opera House is an awesome and technological art center; architecture was magnificent, and the stage at their command. Nutcracker was a great two hours of no talks, just movements and music; followed by a dinner of laughter and talks at Max’s. It’s funny how we enjoy San Francisco nights, its thrilling hills and the lighted trees, but not its days!
